In our boutique we sold wine jelly and lemon curd. There were note cards appropiate for the occasion, and friendship cards containing
a teabag. Perhaps we'll add scones to our line of merchandise in 2004.........

Canterbury Victorian
Tea

March 1, 2008
Grandma's attic was full of wonderful things.  She kept her dolls
and their wicker carriage up there, and we'd go into the half-light to
investigate and play.  We found a trunkful of really old clothes and
boxes of fantastical hats. There was a box of fading sepia photographs-
Grandpa driving a Packard limousine and looking quite spiffy,
Great-Aunt Mildred in a taffeta blouse with long fringe, and Grandma
wearing the oval locket she'd just given Mama.
Way back under the eaves was a box of baby clothes and the christening dress we could see in four generations of baptism pictures. We'd spend the whole afternoon figuring out how to play board games we'd never seen before and making up stories to go with the dusty photographs.  On a rainy day, Grandma's attic was the most wonderful place in the world!
Come and share our treasures from the past.
